The terraces return to Zamora

Zamorans were already looking forward to having their first coffee or beer at the bar after 70 days of confinement. The province has been one of the last in Spain to go to phase 1 and, therefore, hotel establishments have not been able to set up their terraces (at least in the capital) until Monday morning. From early in the morning, we have seen how life returned to cafes and bars, returning to work with the aim of trying to alleviate the economic crisis caused by the coronavirus crisis.

Not all bars in the city have chosen to reopen today. In fact, many of them will have to wait until the end of the de-escalation to resume their activity, either because they lack a terrace, because they are establishments related to nightlife or simply because it is not worth it to resume activity with restrictions that is still on the table.

However, the bars that have decided to set up their terrace from today have enjoyed a significant influx, always respecting the rules, this Monday morning. The terraces of the premises presented a good image and the people of Zamorano have been able to enjoy their morning coffees, their beers in the mid-afternoon and their tortilla skewers during work break.

This afternoon will surely be the turn of young people, who must emulate their elders, respecting security measures and complying with current regulations established by the state of alarm.
