Aid to the tourist and hospitality sector of Castilla y León

The owners of hotel accommodation establishments, rural tourism accommodation, camping sites, tourist hostels, restaurants, banquet hall, active tourism activity holders, owners of travel agency or tourist guides of Castilla y León, provided that the establishment, travel agency, active tourism company or tourism guide for which the grant is requested is registered in the Castilla y León Tourism Registry, prior to March 15, 2020, they can choose to a series of grants from the Junta de Castilla y León

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism publishes today in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies for the tourism sector in Castilla y León, which originates from Decree-Law 2/2020, of April 16 , of urgent and extraordinary measures for the protection of individuals and companies in Castilla y León against the economic and social impact of COVID-19.

Concepts and details of the call

Some of the eligible concepts are those derived from electricity, water, gas and telecommunications supplies; those of maintenance of facilities and machinery, the rental of premises of establishments, where tourism is carried out or insurance; membership fees for any association in the sector; expenses for tax, accounting or legal advice related to COVID-19, as well as expenses corresponding to online advertising and expenses corresponding to positioning or increasing Internet presence

The recipients of these grants are tourist companies with five or fewer workers established in the Community, whether they are individuals, legal entities or communities of property, who are owners of hotel accommodation establishments, rural tourism accommodation, camping, or hostel in tourist regime, restaurant, banquet hall, active tourism activity holders, travel agency holders or tourism guides of Castilla y León, provided they are registered in the Castilla y León Tourism Registry prior to 15 March 2020.
